Abby Govindan: Pushing 30

Abby Govindan: Pushing 30

EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW
Following a hit WIP season across Australia, international comedy sensation and Forbes 30 Under 30 honouree, Abby Govindan is previewing her uproarious new show Pushing 30 for one night and one night only at Soho’s home for hot new theatre and comedy: Underbelly Boulevard Soho.

Watch this year’s most exciting new hour of comedy- a gritty, political dissection of the hellish modern dating landscape and the unique social circumstances that shaped it – before it takes off at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe. Abby’s last show How to Embarrass Your Immigrant Parents, produced by Daniel Sloss and presented by Hasan Minhaj, was a heartfelt ode to Abby’s first-generation Indian-American parents that covered her journey to becoming a comedian, including the famous/infamous Emily in Paris scandal.

“A comedic and timely response to geopolitics.” – The Age
